WASHINGTON D.C. - Today, the United States Secret Service held their annual Uniformed Division promotion ceremony.
Thirty-one of the agencies finest officers were promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the ceremonial proceeding at Secret Service Headquarters.
Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex" Alles and Chief of Uniformed Division Thomas Sullivan presented the newly appointed Sergeants with their new badges representative of the elevated rank.
"The Secret Service prides itself on the capability of its leaders," said Director Randolph "Tex" Alles. "You are 31 of the best leaders that this Agency has to offer and I am proud to serve with every one of you. I look forward to watching you all develop as the future of the Secret Service."
