Women Jumps Fence at the White House Complex

(Washington, D.C.) Today, at approximately 5:30 pm, a female jumped a security barrier (fence) located in the vicinity of the southeast corner of the Treasury Building within the greater White House complex. She was immediately apprehended by U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division personnel.

The individual has been identified; name intentionally withheld pending post arrest processing and forthcoming criminal charges.

The incident resulted in a temporary lock down in the vicinity; however there was no impact to any Secret Service protectee.
